Hi How does it work?

• You need to remove the head unit, pack it properly into 12x12x8 box. Unit must stay tight inside! . Please use Styrofoam or bubble wrap to protect your unit from shipping damage, Watch our video on how to remove main head unit radio.
• If you see a faceplate attached to your unit please remove it (and keep it at home) to prevent shipping damaged. We don’t need the faceplate for the repair and they frequently get damage during shipping. See the product gallery image for the faceplates. 
• Include contact info note with your name, email, phone number, vin of the car. Please attach it directly to the unit with clear tape like this.
• We will test the unit, confirm it needs repair, open it and repair the main board with new parts. We will also do the coding and programming on our end so you won’t need to visit a dealer.
• We will contact you, you make a payment and we will ship the repaired unit back to you. You can also prepay before you ship your unit to us.  Prepayment is preferred since we can ship your unit back without delay once the repair is done. It should be plug and play once you get your repaired CIC back.

• Please eject any cd or DVD, if its stuck try CCC reset (VOLUME BUTTON+EJECT_CD+EJECT_DVD=30 SEC) after it reset keep pressing eject buttons and in most cases it will eject CD/DVD.

• Please verify your shipping address is correct before making a payment as we cannot change the shipping address after the payment is made. 

• Note that this repair service does not cover the CD/DVD drive . The CD/DVD drives often have problems due to wear and tear. We often include the CD/DVD repair “for free” if the problem is very minor but in about 50% of the cases these drives need to be replaced. The replacement is optional but there is an additional fee of $150 dollars if you would like to replace your CD/DVD drive. This fee is to cover the cost of the parts and the labor which is a very intensive process. 

• **Warranty does not cover water damage. Warranty period for our repair service ends one year from the initial payment for the repair service and is not extended by any subsequent repair(s) during the warranty period.***
