Frequently Asked Questions
- You need to remove your unit, pack it properly into a properly sized box. Most units will fit into 12x12x8 boxes. Unit must stay tight inside with 1 inch minimum padding on each side! Please use Styrofoam or bubble wrap to protect your unit from shipping damage.
- Check our product/service page for your unit to see if we have videos on how to remove your unit or if there are additional packing instructions. You can search for your unit here.
- Include contact info with your name, phone number, email, vin of the car. Please attach/tape it directly to the head unit with clear type like this.
- Please fill out the repair request form before mailing your unit to us.
- We will test the unit, confirm it needs repair, open it and repair the main board with new parts. We will also do the coding and programming on our end so you won’t need to visit a dealer.
- We will contact you, you make a payment and we will ship the repaired unit back to you. You can also prepay before you ship your unit to us. Payments can be made on the product/service page for your unit. Please search for your unit here. Additional shipping cost needed for international shipping. It should be plug and play once you get your repaired unit back.

The units may look sturdy but they often have fragile connectors or faceplates that are prone to shipping damage. Most units can fit in 12x12x8 box and please include minimum one inch packing material on each side of the unit like this.
If you are sending a CIC unit please remove the faceplate before shipping.
If you are sending a CCC unit please remove the rear fan before shipping.

The repair itself usually takes around 2-3 business days not including shipping back and forth. So the total turnaround is one week to one and half weeks depending on the shipping time. However during high volume times or if your unit is especially complex the turnaround time can reach two weeks.
We do all the coding and programming based on your VIN on our side. Once fixed you will only need to install the unit to your car and everything should work fine.'
The cost depends on the unit that needs to be repaired and the length of warranty you prefer. Please visit the corresponding page for your unit to make a payment. You can use our product and services search bar (present on the side bar of each page) to find the page for your unit.
These are very complex units that we are repairing. The repair usually takes 6 hours and can often take much longer. The price is mostly due to labor cost plus the cost of parts.
Please attach/tape a contact info note with your name, email, phone number, and vin of the car directly to the unit with clear tape like this.
We prefer that you make a payment before you send your unit to us for repair. If you prepay we will repair your unit and mail it to your shipping address that you entered when you made the payment (or Paypal shipping address if paying via Paypal). If you don't want to prepay we can call or email you after the repair is complete. You can then make a payment before we ship your unit back to you.
Unfortunately we CANNOT. Please ensure your shipping address is correct before making a payment. If paying with Paypal we can ONLY ship to your Paypal shipping address. Your Paypal shipping address shows up on top in the payment popup so please double check the address is correct. If paying with credit or debit card we can ONLY ship to your shipping address entered during payment. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!
This is expected behavior. The navigation will need to recalibrate. You will need to drive around for 5-10 mins and it will show the correct location.
Receipt will be sent to your email address upon payment. To reduce the risk of theft we won't include any paper receipts in the package back to you after repair is complete.
